My FAVE Power Ball Recipe

My FAVE Power Ball Recipe

To say these are my favourite would be an understatement.

I FREAKING love these. I love them straight from the freezer and into my mouth while multitasking life as we always do #gottagogo

The best thing about this recipe is:

1) in the freezer they last forever (so your basically ALWAYS prepared!)

2) they fit perfectly in your mouth no dishes needed (who wants to clean anyways!)

3) they are the ideal with a hot (or cold) coffee, while nursing, busy mama nutrition on the go or to munch while folding 6 piles of laundry.

Having prepped food ready WILL help you nourish more frequently and allow you to put YOURSELF first mama. SO get excited about making a batch of these… BUT be prepared your kids WILL want to eat them AND thats completely okay because they are loaded with goodness.

MY FAVE POWER BALL RECIPE

Recipe for about 20-24ish 1 inch balls so if your MAD prepping’ then double up:

2 cup oats (can do GF oats if you want)

2 cup Peanut Butter (ALL natural is what I try to use most, BUT whatever YOU got) one time I did half PB and half almond butter and it was equally as amazing, so experiment with nut butters.

1/3 cup hemp hearts

1/3 cup honey

1tbsp chia seeds

1/3 cup coconut

1tsp vanilla

sprinkle of salt

1/3 cup chocolate chips

Mash. Roll. Mix.

Roll into 1 inch balls and put into containers and keep in the freezer for whenever you hangry or need a little pick me up!

Hot tip- Wet your hands prior to rolling with cold water and they won’t stick to your hands!

Since they are POWER packed 1-2 is all you need to sustain your energy, give you a little punch of sweetness so your ready to take on the day… or afternoon lull or that HUGE pile of laundry.

I wanted to send a thank you to Ali Myers, who was the one that introduced me to a similar recipe years ago just after I had my first little one which I have adapted over the years and I am still making these on the regular.

PLUS go ball crazy. Want to add in other nuts? change up the nut butter? do M&M’s for the kids? DO it! There is no rules in ball making just FUN! haha

Enjoy!! Nourish yourself, think positive and be grateful for all life’s treasures.

All the best,

Top Knot Mommy
